HerSheMe is the first original play produced by Theatre Roscius. HerSheMe explores women's trauma and mental health using dance, sound, poetry, and movement. It seeks to understand the fragility, femininity, and masculinity of womanhood.

I was instantly drawn into the whirlpool ahead of me, as all three women hypnotically circled the stage. Steady and silent tears streamed down my face, I was transported to a different place entirely; specifically, any black box theater in San Francisco, where art and activism go hand-in-hand.

Called “breathtakingly beautiful, from the poetry on which it was based, to the heart wrenching performance of each actor on stage” (The Examiner), HerSheMe is an amalgam of physical theatre and performance art, smashing together variations of human sound and text, with a nod to theatrical roots in Greek tragedies, all coming together to create a powerful and unique evening of new theatre.
